the ball and was crowned by her husband social dancing was the main event of the evening 0 two ladies affiliated with our department of the american legion auxiliary are expected boar to arrive here wednesday to hold a special meeting with our auxiliary ladies the meeting will be held at the home of our local president mrs lloyd adams at p in all members are urged to attend after the business meeting a social hour will be enjoyed with refreshments these ladies expect to hold a meeting with the moab auxiliary ladies wednesday evening mrs delbert redd has been ill the past ten days and on advice of dr bayles was taken to the moab hospital last tuesday 0 lawrence wright is kept busy these days pumping water out of peoples basements we have had such a wet winter and so much rain lately that water is running every which way this excessive moisture will be a boon to our crops next summer 0 junior black returned home from the price college last week where he has been taking a machinists chinis ts course these courses will be very helpful to our young men in helping to train them for our national defense program several more of our young men ire are also at the price college taking courses 0 the fifth grade elementary school class is talking some of taking a sight seeing tour to points of interest in salt lake city in about six weeks mrs louise E redd is their instructor A reasonable small price will be charged eacho pupil to pay expenses the parents are being interviewed anda if all the pupils can go a guide will be secured in salt lake to explain things
