| Show david P miller answers last call funeral services for david P miller were held on monday the lt of april at p m in thel the relief society hall at bluff bp john rogers of blanding conducted the exercises which were as i f follows I 1 music was furnished by a quartet composed of ernest adams alma jones mrs mabel hurst and mrs beatrice nielson opening was offered by kumen jones appropriate remarks were made by ezekiel johnson franklin J adams and alma jones of blanding the closing prayer was by uriah nielson at the cemetery brief services i t were held the grave was dedi j bated by bishop rogers the small chapel was filled to capacity and decorated with with beautiful spring flowers speaking of the esteem in which the departed was held death came to dave at his home in bluff sunday march 31 at 1200 m after a long illness he had been confined to his bed since february 15 suffering ering from f born stomach ulcers and complications he was attended in his last illness by dr austin who did all in his power to relieve the suffering of the sick man david P miller was born in lafayette indiana january 26 1881 when in in his teens he came to san juan with his mother the late mrs hattie raplee where he is well and favorably known he is survived by his wife mrs frances chapman burkett in daves passing a familiar figure will be missed in our little town the greater part of the last 40 years of his life were ivere spent in bluff 1 |
