Show civic club calls For Action on utah highway 16 0 reminds state road commission of promises made last summer of new projects the regular monthly meeting of the blue mountain civic club was held last tuesday evening in the court house there was only a moderate attendance but important matters were discussed for instance it was decided to hold semimonthly semi monthly meetings or get together sessions from now on meetings will be held on the second and fourth mondays of each month the first of which will be a business session and the second a sort of social get together affair and will be held at vice president paul siebers 9 establishment the first of these gatherings will be held monday february at pm p m it is expected that there will be a good attendance A bill for 30 for the use of a room in the court house for meeting purposes was considered and it was decided that the room was too expensive for the use of the club secretary ken summers was appointed to wait upon the county B board 0 a r d of commissioners and try to obtain a concession in regard to price with the alternative of finding other quarters paul sieber proffered the use of a room in his establishment for one dollar a meeting the president and secretary were instructed to write the state road commission in relation to work on highway in accordance with their promise made last surn summer mer inasmuch as the program they then mapped to the civic clubs of this place and moab is not lot being carried out |
