| Show town board holds monthly meeting the monticello town board held its regular monthly meeting monday night the matter of employing a town marshal came up and it was decided to cooperate if possible with the county and the ward to secure a combination marshal janitor for the court house and church thus making it possible to give full time employment to the official the matter of an overlapping bond payment came up for adjustment the board advancing the date of the first f payment on the second series of power improvement bonds to 1940 instead of 1939 the matter of installing a sewer system tem for the town was disc discussed assed it being the decision of the board to get as much data a s possible on the cost of such system and the method of payment be fore further action be taken the mayor submitted a letter from a finance company which may make it possible for the town to complete its proposed water improvement by replacing the wooden pipe in the lower part of town with steel pipe in case interest and principal charges can be arranged to come within the revenues of the system without increasing the tax levy for the purpose |
