Show san juan school board holds busy session tuesday the san sail juan county hoard board met in regular monthly se ee sion last tuesday and transacted routine business principally the consideration of claim which were duly allowed and ordered paid sir mr gleason educational supervisor of the blanding camp met inet with the board in relation to obtaining permission to use the hi high h school gymnasium for basket ball bal 2 the bermis ion na granted by the board subject to the regular rules and regulations and upon payment of the prescribed nominal fees virgil price appeared and submitted information in relation to alleged irregularities in the recent school election of tho the eat ea t li i strict but no action was taken ce cause the school board has no jur diction in such matters mrs mary J wilson made complaint in relation to being shut in oy the schools system of fences id joining her premises I 1 and asked for relief in the matter on motion by adams seconded by mr johnson it was resolved to remove the fen fenee fence ce on the east side of the school grounds and to take up sufficient of the fence on the south to afford reasonable access and to dead end this portion of the fence the matter of insurance of the various school buildings of the county coming up for consideration it was decided to divide the insurance ranse ranze on the new high I 1 building at blanding equally between the home fire insurance company of utah and the western national ins co with a total insurance of or 90 per cent coverage and it was decided to insure the buildings at ginger hill horse head summit point ucolo bucolo lockerby and arado in the western national insurance In insure surnce nee co the board checked the returns of the recent school election and declared that the following had been elected members of the school board herbert redshaw precinct 5 geo A hurst jr precinct 3 john johnson precinct 1 |
