Show its a PAevf I Imagine walking into a classroom or meeting without a pad and pencil, yet leaving with letter perfect notes. Imagine Im-agine you are free to give the discussion at hand your full attention, and yet still have complete and accurate records. Until now, even the most ardent students and observers observ-ers had to divide their attention atten-tion between the speaker and their notebooks, tape recorders, record-ers, or even video recorders or lap computers. But even the most sophisticated of these media lacks the ability to reproduce re-produce exact copies of the speaker's message. First there was the blackboard, black-board, then the whiteboard; now Ricoh Corporation announces an-nounces a new milestone in the history of communications communica-tions an electronic whiteboard white-board that makes high quality qual-ity copies of virtually anything any-thing written or drawn on it. Ricoh's Write Board is similar simi-lar in appearance to a conventional conven-tional whiteboard and has an available writing area of approximately ap-proximately three by four feet. The scrolling process gives the speaker five boards on which to make his or her presentation and scans from one to four boards at a single pass in order to automatically make up to 99 copies of virtually virtu-ally any drawing, chart, graph, illustration or text, at the remarkable rate of six copies per minute. And because be-cause the Write Board lets you combine entries from either two or four screens into a single 8 12" by 11" page, you can save on paper without scrimping on information. Now imagine that you are the speaker and that you have everyone's undivided attention. atten-tion. People are sitting up, listening lis-tening to everything you have to say, reacting to your message mes-sage without the impediment of having to write down what you are saying And imagine the follow-up: perfect copies of your thoughtfully worked out idea, information or proposal pro-posal ready at hand when and where they're needed. |
