Show FIRST SECURITY OPEN HOUSE ' TODAY, SATURDAY Formal opening of the newly enlarged and remodeled offices of First Security Bank of Utah, N.A. in Sugar House will be held Friday at 6:30 p.m., George S. Eccles, bank president, announced Wednesday. Mayor Earl J. Glade will snip the ribbon opening the new all-glass entrance to the bank. Open house will be Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The bank is situated at 1065 East 21st South street. In charge of First Security Bank in Sugar House are C. G. White and B. W. Vincent both assistant vice presidents. iT-' it-. ! The $60,000 renovation of the bank building includes an entire new front with a large expanse of glass and a frame faced with terra cotta and granite. A new 24-hour envelope depository has also been installed in the entrance. The enlarged lobby features nine new all-metal teller counters, modern fluorescent lighting and acoustic tile ceiling. The entire bank building has completely new air conditioning, including steam heating. The safe deposit vault is now situated on the main floor, and the new larger Timeway department depart-ment has been combined into one room. The bank's entire accounting account-ing department has been moved to the new second floor. Architect is William J. Monroe Jr., Do"land Construction Company Compa-ny is contractor. Mr. Eccles said that First Security's Se-curity's new drive-in bank will be completed approximately Dec. 1 "This newly enlarged and renovated reno-vated First Security Bank in Sugar House is in the heart of residential Salt Lake City," Eccles said. "In this building program we express our faith in the continued growth of this vigorous southeast part of the city." First Security opened its bank in Sugar House on July 8, 1933, moving to its present location several sev-eral weeks later. Present quarters were modernized in 1948. MAYOR EARL J.
