Show Civuhjland Window NOVEL DISPLAY DONE BY STAFF AT SOUTH EAST FURNITURE One of the most distinctive Christmas window displays in all the west is activated in South East Furniture's southeast display window. . i Done completely by store employes, from the motivation of the Candyland character to the recording and the verse, the light display is vivid in color, novel in thought, and it certainly called on genius to build and develop. The Peppermint Band, with a KVYV recording done to the tune of the "Wooden Soldier," captivates the imagination not only of children but of adults as well. Dick Crookston, artistic window dresser of South East, and Peggy Gunderson, poetess, did outstanding work In their parts of the project. The music for the recording was sung by the Wasatch Elementary Elemen-tary school children of Mrs. Richards, and Mrs. Gunderson, as the elf, and Crookston as St. Nicholas, do excellent parts. |
