Show Sugar House Jaycees Complete Annual Clean-up Project The Sugar House Jaycees and their wives turned out enmasses Saturday to finish a part of their Clean-Up Paint-Up Fix-Up project pro-ject by completely painting the exterior of Mrs. McDonald's home, 2618 South 9th East. After priming, prim-ing, wire brushing, caulking and scraping, the group completed the job in 3 hours, while the men were brushing the large areas and high places the auxiliary painted the trim an.d fancy work. Mrs. McDonald, age 77, has been a widow for 5 years. This was the first time the house has been painted since 1931. After the Jaycees were finished Mrs. McDonald Mc-Donald and several of the neighbors neigh-bors expressed their thanks and Jipprec5ation to Chairman Joe George for the improvement this civic project made in their corn-Chairman corn-Chairman Joe George and Vice Chairman Al Furse expressed appreciation ap-preciation for the fine cooperation coopera-tion of the members and auxiliary in the fulfillment of the service. Also commended was W. P. Fuller and Co. for furnishing all paint, materials, etc. used on this job. |
