Show RE-ZONING OF 21ST SOUTH IS REQUESTED Re-zoning of the north side of 21st South, from 7th East to Windsor Wind-sor St., to permit the opening of a bowling alley at 753 East 21st South, was taken under advisement by the city commission after a public hearing. The Capson Investment Co. asked for the re-zoning from B-3 group to business A (limited commercial area) with R. W. Everett, 551 East 21st South, and Alex G. Adamson, president, Builders- Reality, Inc. 565 East 21st South, suggesting the street be reclassified for gen- eral business without restrictions. Charles R. Snelgrove, of Snel-grove Snel-grove Ic eCream, told the commission commis-sion he would not oppose the bowling bowl-ing alley, but that he would resist a billiard parlor or the sale of beer on the premises. Mr. Jorgensen, spokesman, for commissioners sand that action on the matter would await the consideration con-sideration of another petition which had been filed the last of the week. |
