Show Goodie-goodie Shop GRAND AFFAIR DATED IN HOLLADAY Free sherbet cones and cookies will treat the Holladay Holla-day folk Saturday, March 12, at the grand opening of the Taystee Maid Bakery and Hammond Ice Cream, 2280 East 4800 South. The new bakery does not come into the community unknown, un-known, for it is the second store, the first opened in 1925 by F. William Ludwig at 418 East 2 South, and has earned the owner a reputation throughout the city for quality quali-ty and luscious bakery goods. Manager of the new store is Robert N. Ludwig, and his twin brother is manager of the downtown store. The baked goods are baked at the downtown establishment establish-ment to assure consistency in quality and flavors, the high i standards for which the merchandise mer-chandise is known. Attractive booths will provide pro-vide a place for relaxing over cold drinks and sodas which will be served, in style, by Elva Neilson, Ann Hammond, Betsy Stratton and Jim Waters. |
