Show ''Nutcracker" Featured For Holiday On Ice When it comes to originality in production and innovations on ice, the producers of Holiday On Ice of 1957 can take top honors in the field. It might be a case for Scotland Yard to fin dout how George and Ruth Tyson, the master-minds of the Holiday spectaculars, spec-taculars, keep coming up each year with numbers that leave audiences breathless and create the magic feeling that you've just stepped off a flying carpet into a land of make-believe. This year's featured number is a lavish and star-studded star-studded interpretation of Tschai-kovsky's Tschai-kovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" and this charming classic has never had better presentation. Holiday On Ice of 1957 opens on Friday, September 14 at the Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City and will hold forth through Sunday, September 23. There is no doubt the talk of the town will be the "Nutcracker." In presenting this colorful story set to delightful music, Holiday has again scored a first, and what a pei-fect vehicle for Holiday's talented skaters! From the lyrical "Waltz of the Fbra:," to the sensuous "Dance Arabe," the "Nutcracker" lends itself to every variety of ice skating, skat-ing, nut, "the piece de resistance" is the inspired performance of lovely Kay Servatius as the Sugar Plum Fairy in a role that fits her to perfection. The candy lamp train and the Fairyland setting will capture the imagination of every youngster and the adults will be enticed by the magnificent array of costumes, the colorful sets and the "Waltz of the Flowers" as it is interpreted by the famous Glamour "leers." Then add little Juanita Percelly as little Clara and brother, Gigi as the Prince, versatile Tommy Collins Col-lins as the Wintergreen Stick and dynamic Don Watson's Dance Chi-noise. Chi-noise. Then there's the Sugar Plum Angels, the mechanical doll, the toy soldier ,the mice and the Mouse King to round out an enchanting en-chanting story. We're always anxious to see Holiday, but we can't wait to see the 1957 edition opening on September 14 for a 10 day engagement engage-ment at the Utah State Fair.
