Show Ada Burt Seeks State BPW Presidency . .--' ,i -V ;-.! '. J? V'.- . i ; ' 'l I J 1 "' t - i v. - if . ; Ada Burt, Assistant Professor of Nursing, University of Utah, and former president of the Sugar House Business and Professional Women's Club, is a candidate for state president of the BPW. Miss Burt is sponsored by the Sugar House club. A member of the B. P. W. since ' 1935, Ada has served the orgarii- zation in many capacities. When stationed successively in ; Washington, Iron and Garfield j Counties as staff nurse with the Utah Department of Public , Health, she was an active member of the St. George Club, Cedar City and Panguitch Clubs. Ada's career of nursing has led to many interesting experiences one of which was the assignment to Alaska with the U. S. Public Health Service, there she helped lay the foundation for B. & P. W. and held offices of recording secretary, sec-retary, vice-president and president presi-dent in the organization. At present pres-ent Ada is first vice-president of the state group and is completing complet-ing her fourth year as a member of the executive board. Ada Burt ...
