Show PLAYERS OPEN DRAMA SEASON The Westminster Players opened op-ened their yearly series with a delightful presentation of "The Male Animal," by James Thurber and Elliot Nugent last Thursday evening. Playing before a large, receptive audience, Roy Gibson led the talented tal-ented cast with Marcia Baldwin and Paul Cornaby well cast in opposite roles. The play satirizes the impact on a small university when Professor Pro-fessor Turner casually tells the editor of the school literary magazine maga-zine he intends to read to his class the letter of a confirmed communist commu-nist just before his execution. Other members of the cast were Gerald Clanvilles, Tony Tiler, Roberta Ro-berta Roberts, Cathy Cone, Betty Erickson, Joan Robinson, Don Farnsworth, Louis Delpierre, Bill Lewis and Rod Flint. The cast and director, Jay Lees, will immediately start production on the next play, "Anne of a Thousand Thou-sand Days." |
