Show PATRICIA AN?! ilYE MARRIES WILLIAM LEON BUCKLEY HERE The Reception Center, 1227 East 33rd South, was the setting for the marriage of Miss Patricia Ann Nye and William Leon Buckley on November 10. Miss Nye is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Nye, 3224 South 20th East. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Buckley, 3096 South 3rd East. Arthur B. Bringhurst performed the double-ring ceremony against a background of palms and candel abra. A reception followed the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Chariene Nye, as maid of iionor, who was attired in a melon colored grown of crepe. Bridesmaids were Miss Marilyn j White and Miss Mary Lythgoe. (Their gowns were light brown and I gold, respectively, both similarly styled in taffeta with full ballerina baller-ina skirts and ribbon sashes. The bride's gown of white lace over rose satin featured a lace apron effect coming to a bustle in back over the ballerina skirt. She carried a white orchid surrounded with pink carnations. Mother of the bride wore a changeable taffeta gown with black velvet trim, while Mrs. Buckley, Buck-ley, the groom's mother, wore a bronze taffeta with black velvet trim. F. LeRoy Buckley was best man. Ushers were Ronald Faddis and Larry Nye. The newlyweds are at home to their many friends at 2675 Bark-eley Bark-eley Court. |
