Show RED CROSS COLLECTS LARGE PART OF 5150,481 GOAL As County Red Cross drive neared the end of the third week, with $47,365 of its $150,481 goal collected, the professional and county divisions led other five divisions in total funds collected to date. During the week special awards were given Ken Boyd, professional division chairman, on behalf of his collections equalling 46 per cent of the division goal; Grey Bogden and David Houston, county division co-chairmen, whose volunteers turned in 21 per cent of their division di-vision goal. . . Sam B. Kellogg, campaign chairman, chair-man, presented the professional division di-vision with a '"Presidential award" and Mrs. Lee S. Packman, chapter .chairman, gave the county division a "Secretary's Award." Kellogg predicted that the financial finan-cial report for Friday's third report re-port meeting would be the best of the month-long campaign. "At our first report meeting we were 59 per cent ahead of last year and at our second report meeting meet-ing we increased the pace and were 59 per cent ahead of last year's drive. At this rate our third report re-port meeting should be tle best of the campaign," Kellogg said. |
