Show HELEN TRAUBEL TO SING WITH SYMPHONY Helen Traubel, Metropolitan opera star, regarecec' as the greatest great-est Wagnerain soprano of all time, will be guest soloist with the Utah Symphony orchestra in two concerts con-certs next week. Miss Traubel will appear with conductor Maurice Abravanel and the 89 piece Utah Symphony in concerts at the LDS tabernacle Wednesday, November 18, and at the Ogden high school on Thursday, Thurs-day, November 19. Tickets for both concerts are now available. Last week's opening concert in Salt Lake City was hailed by critics as one of the best ever, and indications are that this 1953-54 symphony season will set a new high for excellence and interest, according to David S. Romney, managing director. Tickets can be obtaned from the Symphony office at 55 West First South. |
