Show Southeast Youth Gets Army Honors UNITED STATES FORCES IN AUSTRIA Sgt. Gordon C. Willfams son of Mrs Vera Williams, Wil-liams, 1954 S. 9th East, Salt Lake ity, has been rewarded with the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious meri-torious achievement in action, on i January 6, 1945, in France. j Before his induction into the army in July, 1942, the infantryman infantry-man was employed as an accountant ac-countant at the Commercial Cred-' Cred-' it Corporation, Salt Lake. Assigned overseas with his regiment, reg-iment, the 222nd, Sergeant Williams Wil-liams has been awarded, in addition ad-dition to the Bronze Star Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, while participating with the 42nd , "Rainbow" Division in its campaign cam-paign in France and Germany. The 222nd Intfantry Regment is part of the 42nd "Rainbow" Division with Gen. Mark W. Clark's United States Forces in Austria. |
