Show Week's Doings At Westminster Primary elections for next year's student body officers at Westminster College were held Monday morning with the following results: for president, Paul Cotro-Manes and Lavell Hansen, vice-president, Walter Miller and Sally Taylor; secretary, secre-tary, Mariece Matthew and Alice McGarrigle, treasurer, Ralph Lubeck and Don Rouil-lard. Rouil-lard. Final elections will be held Friday. The Spring Formal will be held in the Payne Gumnasium Saturday evening, May 3, under the sponsorship of the Women's Athletic Association. Music for thes occasion will be provided by Tom Bond's orchestra. The theme wll not be revealed until ! the dance. Dean J. S. Boughton and the Crackwbarrel Club of philosophy philos-ophy department enjoyed their first outdoor meeting of the season last Thursday at Ledge-mere Ledge-mere picnic ground in Big Cot-tinwood Cot-tinwood canyon. Approximately twenty budding philosophers discussed the subject "What i conscience?" Mr. E. J. Wilcox of the Veterans' Vet-erans' Administration was at Westminster Wednesday afternoon after-noon counselling with veterans as to their plans for the summer and for further training. President Robert D. Steele presented membership pins in the Stevenson Memorial Society to two studients who earned these pins last year because of exceptionally high scholastic standings. Those honored were Doris Warner and Phyllis Cotro-Manes. Cotro-Manes. John Hickman brought home a medal for winning third place in the broad jump at the BYU Centennial track meet last weekend. The levelling of the new football field at the west' end of Westminster campus was completed this week by R. M. Jensen, contractor. Dr. Russell C. Artist is participating par-ticipating in a series of radio broadcasts Sunday mornings over KUTA at 8:30.
