Show Doing the Town By ELAINE CANNON Homeowners in Veteran's Heights met for their annual business meeting this week in the Rosecrest Ward Chapel. President Walt Sewart and Secretary Sec-retary Keith Webb were reelected re-elected to their present jobs. Among those named to the board of directors were David Wood, Allen Hunter, Ronald McLean, Ed Miles. Saw Mark Bickley, George Prince, George McMillan, the Tex Martins among those putlng In their say about local problems. Had a note from Milt Weil-enmann Weil-enmann and Lis wife who are traveling the Northwest and Canada with Chris Ron-now, Ron-now, you know. They're having a wonderful time and will be home the end of the week. It's goodbye lor a while to Capt. and Mrs. Jack Adamson and their three children. . Jack is stationed at Hamilton Field in California and came up to get his family over the week end: All their friends surely hate to see them go! There have been .several entertainments in honor of Mrs. Adamson recently recent-ly including a luncheon with Mrs. Keith Edgar Montague as hostess. - Wonderful news! Mr. and Mrs. Howard Badger, 2135 Oneida, have a darling new-daughter new-daughter to add to the family circle. The little dark haired beauty was born in the LDS Hospital last week and weighed weigh-ed in just a speck over 7 pounds. And everyone is doing do-ing very nicely, thank you. Mrs. Badger is the former Eleanor Ashton, daughter of Mrs. M. O. Ashton and the late Marvin Ashton of the Presiding Bishopric of the LDS Church. Paternal grandparents grand-parents are Mrs. Julia Badger and Ralph A. Badger. Danny and Julia are pleased as Punch over their new sister, too. |
