Show 'Peter and the Wolf Set For Symphony Presentation Dec, 28 One of the happiest events of the Christmas season promises to be the special holiday program pro-gram planned by the Utah Symphony Sym-phony Orchestra for Wednesday, Wednes-day, Dec. 28. The Christmas program will be featured by a presentation of Prokofieff's "Peter and the OWolf" -with Roscoe Grover, "Uncle Roscoe" to thousands of Utah radio fans, serving as the narrator. Mr. Grover is now' manager of Radio Station KSUBl in Cedar City but he is still wellj remembered for his "Uncle Ros-1 coe" role of years ago and is still regarded as one of the finest narrators in the state. j But "Peter and the Wolf" is just a small part of the delight-: ful holiday concert that will be staged at the Tabernacle two days after Christmas. Also included in-cluded will be the "Hansel and Gretel Overture" by Humper-dinck; Humper-dinck; "Three German Dances" by Mozart; Haydn's "Surprise Symphony" and the well known and well - liked "Nutcracker Suite" by Tschaikowsky. The Utah Symphony to date has played three concerts, two in Salt Lake City and one at Ogden. All three have been enthusiastically en-thusiastically received and all have been sellouts. The first concert of the new year will be staged at Cedar City on Jan. 4. "Peter and the Wolf" with Roscoe Grover as narrator again will be featured. Artur Rubinstein will perform per-form at the Salt Lake Tabernacle Taber-nacle on Tuesday, Jan. 10, and everyone who plans to hear this world-famous pianist is urged to order tickets now.
