Show Music Fans Hail Utah Symphony the narrator. The delightful holiday program also will include in-clude the Hansel and Gretel Orator ly Hmnperdinck; Three German Dances by Mozart; Mo-zart; Surprise Symphony by Haydn and the wellknown Nutcracker Nut-cracker Suite by Tschaikowsky. Music fans from Logan to St George are hailing the Utah Symphony Orchestra this year as "the finest that has ever represented rep-resented the state." After its great performances in the opening concert and Verdi's Ver-di's inspiring Requiem the symphony sym-phony scored a tremendous hit in an appearance at Oden. This was the first of the state-wide appearances. Others will follow throughout the winter season. Saturday a special children's concert will be staged at the Tabernacle. Christmas Program The next major date for Conductor Con-ductor Maurice Abravanel and his brilliant orchestra will be a special Christmas program which will be staged at the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
