Show Chairman Appointed to Promote March ot Dimes in Sugar House . 4 i J-i K V-, The latest allocation was $40,000, a check for which was delivered , to Dr. William M. McKay, Utah state health commissioner com-missioner and chairman of the emergency committee, which directs use of the national foundation foun-dation funds, and monies con- j tributed by state, county and private sources to continue the treatment of Utah polio victims at the state center in Salt Lake City. Half of all contributions to the annual March of Dimes remains with local chapters of the national na-tional foundation, and the other half goes to the national foundation founda-tion to finance research work, education and epidemic aid. M. L. (Bud) Brain, prominent Sugar House businessman, has been named chairman for the southeast section of the annual March of Dimes campaign, Jan. 14 to 31, during which funds will be raised to combat the dread polio disease. Contribution boxes will be placed in business houses throughout the section, along with display posters, and Sugar House will have a chance again to show its leadership and enthusiasm en-thusiasm in support of a most worthy cause! A total of $100,000 has been delivered to the Utah state emergency emer-gency polio committee by the National Foundation for Infantile Infan-tile Paralysis to help meet the costs of nursing, physical therapy ther-apy and other types of treatment treat-ment and care of polio patients at Salt Lake general hospital, according to Frank S.
