Show S. H. Lady Lions Install Heads Mrs. Lawrence J. Oborn was installed as president of the Sugar House Lady Lions, Friday. Fri-day. She succeeds Mrs. Dow P. Brian. The annual installation luncheon lunch-eon was held Friday, 1 p.m at the Salt Lake County Club. The dining tables were centered with an artistic arrangement of roses and matching flowing tapers. The favors marking each place were clever handkerchief girls with miniature old-fashioned bouquets of lavender and pink. Following the luncheon, the meeting was conducted by Mrs. Dow P. Brian, president. Mrs. Albert V. Mackie, general chairman; chair-man; Mrs. Wallace L. Smith, Mrs. William O. Lee and Mrs. J. Karl Kell were hostesses for the day The slate of newly-elected officers of-ficers includes Mrs. Laurence J. Oborn, president; Mrs. M. LeRoy DeKarver, vice president; presi-dent; Mrs. Wendell L. Cottrell, treasurer; Mrs. Henry W. Richards, Rich-ards, secretary; Ms Raymond R. McFarlane, program chairman; Mrs. Richard W. Wells, publicity pub-licity chairman; Mrs. L. Mitchell Jones, historian; Mrs. Kenneth B. Dyer, parliamentarian; Mrs. Ray D. Free, Mrs. Fred P. Kess-ler, Kess-ler, Mrs. William O. Lee, Mrs. Russel H. Magleby andv Mrs. Don B. Brian, board of directors. direc-tors. During the past year, these enthusiastic members have assisted as-sisted in the organization of the new Lady Lions Club at River-ton River-ton and Midvale, Utah. The Pimary Children's Hospital received re-ceived a photograph player from the Sugar House Lady Lions and during the year have received several record albums. The club's Christmas activities included caring for a needy family, providing them with toj's and food. |
