Show Since this program is presented pre-sented as a public service in an effort to help develop the facilities of Sugar House, those in attendance at the regular Thursday evening meetings will be asked to donate at leastxa volume on the short story or some related subject to the Sprague branch. No charge, however, will be made. Course in Story Writing to open In S. II. June 20 As the first event in a long j range program to make Sugar House a literary and art center, cen-ter, William Clyde Behunin, director di-rector of the Maja League, will conduct a short story writing group beginning June 20, at 7 p.m. at the Sprague Library. Crown Press in the "Victory Anthology of (Verse" says ". . . SHort stories by Behunin have appeared in various newspapers and magazines and he is represented repre-sented in major poetry anthologies anthol-ogies . . ." Copies of the better-known better-known poetry anthologies, that contain his work, are on file at the Sprague Library. For 12 weeks, the (course will be devoted primarily to the Eurythmic suggestion short story as an introduction to the field of short story writing. After Aft-er this period, a Sugar House literary society will be organized organ-ized according to Mr. Behunin. |
