Show Popular Pair Weds Tulv 27 "Bob and Carol, July 27," was the announcement on the card at a Country Club luncheon last week which told of the forthcoming forth-coming marriage of Miss Carol Coombs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Coombs, 10S9 20th 'e., and Pfc. Robert W. Elliott, son ot Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Ei- litf 0007 09,-ir! T71 v 1 Beta Theta Pi. was graduated from Westminster college before be-fore attending the U. of U. and Stanford university. He also is well known in Masonic circles. Pfc. Elliott Was a prisoner of the Germans for four months after being captured in the Belgian Bel-gian bulge and arrived back in Salt Lake late in May. Both the bride and the bridegroom-elect are prominent in the young social set of the city. The wedding will take place in late afternoon in St. Mark's cathedral, the Very Rev. Herald Her-ald G. Gardner officiating. Attending At-tending her sister will be Mrs. Robert S. Beck, while the bridegroom-elect will have for best man, Lt. James Eliott. USMCR.
