Show Overnigltt Parking Violators Warned Overnight parking violators are warned to get their cars off the highways and streets, if they wish to stay off police records, Sugar House substation substa-tion chief, Charles J. Larson, stated Wednesday. 0"We are issuing violation tickets nightly, "Lt. Larson said," in an effort to curb thoughtlessness on the part of southeastern car owners. Besides Be-sides the danger and inconvenience incon-venience resulting in such action, ac-tion, the law is being broken every time a person leaves his car parked on the streets from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. longer than 30 minutes." City ordinance 61 10 prohibits such action. One evening last week some 75 tickets were issued. Since then Lt. Larson said he had noticed a marked decline in overnight parking violations. He urges all southeast citizens to cooperate with the department depart-ment in getting the cars off the busy, icy streets and onto v private property. |
