Two ward members were recently made happy when they were , presented awards for outstanding outstand-ing work as stake missionaries. EMMA CHARD, 1119 Westminster, West-minster, was presented a lovely bracelet and EUGENE NORTH, 1168 Westminster, a ring. . . Proudly displaying an orchid lei on Christmas was MRS. LU FAWSON,' 1222 Westminsster. It was sent to her by son CLARK who is serving an LDS mission in the Hawaiian Islands. Leah Bond Another year has quietly slipped slip-ped away and soon we'll be writing writ-ing 1949 on all our notes. Beginning Be-ginning the New Year in the way of budget events will be a musical presented by the two Elders' quorums late in the month . . . On Sunday evening the Genealogical Gen-ealogical committee will be in charge of evening meeting. BRYAN WHEELER and FRED CLEGG will be the speakers and music will be furnished by BOB THOMPSON'S chorus of young people . . . RAY WETZELL will give his homecoming missionary report on Jan. 9 ... It has been necessary neces-sary to make some changes in the LDS Girls' Committee. Chairman JUNE BABBEL has been released and Secretary De-LORA De-LORA GARRETT. Sustained |
