Show :! '--": I : i f v ' . t-r Gloria, Rae Curtis, Melvin II. Nielsen Set Aug. 14 Wedding Date Plans are under way for the wedding of a well-known young couple, Gloria Rae Curtis and Melvin A. Nielson. August 14 is the date set and the marriage mar-riage will be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, followed by a reception in the evening at the LDS Institute of Religion. Announcement of the coming marriage was made at a beautifully beau-tifully planned tea given July 15 by the mother of the bride, to be at the home of Mr. and Mrs,.' D. L. Snarr, uncle and aunt of the bride-elect, 1741 Harvard Ave. Miss Curtis is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Curtis, 1499 S. Seventh East, and Mr. Nielson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew P. Nielson, 1331 Lincoln St. Bridal Party For the reception, Mrs. Charles Keith Grant has been asked to stand as matron of honor. Miss Pat Rogers will be maid of honor. Other attendants attend-ants will be Mrs. Harold J. Nielson, Niel-son, Mrs. Richard O. Evans, Miss Marlene Twelves and Miss Joyce Snanr. Claudia Curtis will be junior bridesmaid-Best bridesmaid-Best man will be Harold .1. Nielson of Sacramento, Calif. Ushers will be Edwin Higley, Kirk Thomson, Ray Nielson, Dean Collett and Richard Baker. Before their wedding the young couple will be given a whirl of parties by their friends and relatives.
