Show fe 10 OF INCOME W IS OUR QUOTA M IN WAR BONDS ALLOTMENT PLAN FOR PURCHASE OF WAR SAYINl.S BONDS Aimed at participation by all embployers . large and small, a concerted drive to complete the Payroll Allotment Plan in this state was launched this week by Utah directors of the War Savings Sav-ings Staff. D. Howe Moffett, Deputy State Administrator, said that participation partici-pation by employers of one hundred hun-dred or more s virtually 100 per cent complete and that attention is being centered on those employing em-ploying less than one hundred. Large number of firms employing employ-ing between 10 and 100 workers have been signed in the Allotment Plan, but considerable work remains re-mains to be done in the large group having from 3 to 10 work-I work-I ers. The aim is to sign up all firms in the state, even down to those with only three employees. Next step in the drive will be to attain average War Bond purchases' of at least 10 per cent of these payrolls, under the Treas ury's voluntary quoto program. "Regardless of how eager a worker may be to make regular, planned purchases of Series "E" Bonds, he can't do so by Payroll deductions until his employer makes the necessary arrangements," arrange-ments," Mr. Moffet said. Utah's quota for May was $1,201,000. The June quota, expected ex-pected to be larger, will be announced an-nounced shortly. |
