Show Holladay Lions To Hear Address From Air Force Officer HOLLADAY "Mission of the Air Force," will be the topic for an address by Capt. E. E. Martinez of Hill Air Force Base when he speaks to the Holladay Lions club at their regular dinner din-ner meeting, Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Peeler's Forest Hills Cafe. Meanwhile the club readied plans to start the anti-disease fight. They will join forces with . the Cottonwood Lions club, the -Lady Lions, Relief Societies and P.T.A. in the district. A series of blood typing and immunization immuniza-tion is well on its way. Immunization of small pox, typhoid, and tetenus started Monday,- Feb. 25, and will continue con-tinue March 3, at Olympus Jr. High, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. This program will continue for 10 weeks. Seven new members have been welcomed into the club. They are: Dr. Lester Cannon, Warren Cluff, Zelph Y. Erickson, Newel C. Mann, Robert Shephard, James W. Smith and Dr. Ronald W. King. The Holladay Lion's birthday party is scheduled for March 27, at the" Meadowbrook Country Club, 4200 South Redwood Road. A dinner-dance is on docket for that evening. |
