Show SUP Invites Legislators To Monday Dinner Meeting Utah legislators will be special guests of the Sons of Utah Pioneers, Sugar House chapter, next Monday evening at a smorgasbord smor-gasbord dinner at Beau Brummel Restaurant, 3100 Highland Drive, according to Horace A. Sorensen, president. A personal invitation was extended to state senators and representatives rep-resentatives Wednesday of this week to attend the regular monthly month-ly meeting of the local SUP. The dinner will start at 7 p.m. in the main dining room of the restaurant, which has been reserved for the affair. Museum Visit Following the dinner and program, chapter members and the guests will travel to the Pioneer Museum, 3000 Connor St., for an inspection tour. A leaflet on Utah his tory, written by Dr. Joel Ricks of Logan will be read there. "Since the preceding legisla-ture legisla-ture passed Senate bill 20, creating cre-ating a state park at the prison site, many state groups have been active in formulating plans for the park," Mr. Sorensen said. "We want the current body of legislators to be fully informed of what the citizens have done." |
