Show E. Mill Creek Lady Lions i Stage Banquet The East Mill Creek Lady Lions entertained their husbands hus-bands at their April meeting at Granite Stake Hall, 21st S. and 9th E., with a dinner dance. An entertaining program, with all the participant members of the club, followed dinner. Mrs. Frank !E. Fitts acted as maser of ceremonies. The Lady Lions chorus started the program off by singing two numbers; an original song composed com-posed by Earl Walker, a takeoff take-off on the guests of honor, was sung wth gestures by Max Thompson and Ralph Pitts. Instrumental In-strumental dinner music was furnished by Holley Groneman, Lewis Bagley and Nephi Anderson. An-derson. An Easter theme was carried out in the decorations. Tiny Easter bonnets in flowered 'hat boxes were placed along the tables ta-bles with a lovejy centerpiece pf spring flowers effectively add- ing to the festivities. Mrs- Le 'Roy Anderson was chairman and was ably assisted by Mrs. Vaughn Wimmer, who was chairman of the dinner committee. The Lady Lions have already sent four Ixixes of boys' books and of box of games, donated by their club to the State Industrial School in'Ogden. This is just a beginning, according to .Mrs. Pitts. "So much Jneeds to be done and the Lady Lions are anxious to do their part in helping help-ing to nuild the morale of those youngsters," says Mrs. Pitts. |
