Show News From Kearns ANIMALS ' ARRIVE KEARNS, UTAH First ani. mals to be used for laboratory tests have arrived at the Kearna hospital and the soldiers working ! there, long away from their pets j at home, are a glowing example ! of man's instinctive affection for live things. I Even the white mice are com-, com-, ing in for much fondling as the rabbits. All are domesticated, raised epecially for the purpose they are to serve here. Special hutches in a heated shed have been built for them and it is proving prov-ing to be one of the most popular popu-lar spots in the hospital layout. Keep 'Em Flying BOTH AT THE SAME CAMP Stanley Barnett of Hollywood came here two weeks ago to visit his brother, Milton, a medical medi-cal corps trainee. Stanley wag going go-ing into the army himself and he wanted to see his brother once more. He did enter the nrmy and came right back to Kearns for his basic training! He's only a block from his brother and they see each other every day. Keep 'Em Flying GET A QUESTIONNAIRE 3 FINE SUSPENDED When trainees arrive here, they fill out a questionnaire, one inquiry in-quiry of which reads, "Have you ever figured in a news story?" Pvt. Anthony Trinchcro, 25, San Francisco, wrote: "Fined for speeding fine suspended because ! of joining the air forces."
