Show WOUNDED MEN MOVED FAST Hillfielder Wounded G. I. Joe is being removed from the battle-front battle-front and of to the best medical facilities in the U.S. in less time than it took his doughboy father to a field hospital in 1917-18. With increasing regularity, big hospital airships from the world's war fronts are landing at Hill Field to refuel and to discharge some of the patients usually soldier sol-dier patients who come from this part of the country to Bushnell general hospital in Brigham City. One morning last week a reconverted recon-verted passenger liner from the east coast settled down here with a cargo of arouncl a dozen wounded wound-ed veterans. One wag a litter case-the case-the rest was what they call ambu! atory cases. The ambulatory cases were able to walk around, but the litter case just stared up in the sky. He smilecr-at the lady Red Cross aide who served him. In a few minutes the ambulance with cases left for the Brierham Citv hospital. The rest stood around waiting for the big plane to be refueled. They were going on to the west coast. |
