Show Public Health A total of 410 cases of commun- lcable diseases was reported by the local health officers from all sections of the state to the Division Div-ision of Communicable Disease Control, Utah State Board of Health, for the week ending February Feb-ruary 28. This is 62 cases more than wa3 reported last week and 320 cases fewer than were reported report-ed for the corresponding week in 1940. Chickenpox led the list of communicable com-municable diseases with a total of 116 cases; yet, this is 5 cases fewer than were reported for the previous week. Mumps and German measles are second in number, with a total tot-al of 45 cases each. One case of diphtheria was reported re-ported from Salt Lake County, this makes a total of 14 cases which have been reported so far this year. Thirteen cases of septic sore throat were reported from a CCC camp in Moab, Grand County. Twelve cases of scarlet fever were reported as compared with 3 cases for the previous week. . |
