Show Southeast, Aposhian Garage Capture Junior Cage Features Southeast Trips Highland Park in Extra Periods The dope bucket was kicked sky high Saturday when Bob Osborne's fighting Southeast clan tipped Highland Park in two extra periods of play. It looked as if the game was all sewed up foor the Highlanders when with 30 seconds to go they held a two point advantage but Bob Mosely, not even looking at the basket, tossed in a perfect back-hand loop shot which knotted the score as the gun barked the end of the regular playing time. The game ended 14-14, the first period 16-16 16-16 and the final score showed a 21-18 advantage for the Southeast. South-east. Ralph Miller calmly tossed ' in a foul shot and a field goal for the hard earned victory. The Southeast quintet is a solid favorite fav-orite of most of the Junior Leag-. Leag-. uers and they all but tore the roof off the Westminster Gym when Southeast finally staged the biggest upset of the season. Ralph Miller and Bob Osborne were high scorers for the winners while Darrell Morgan was outstanding out-standing for the losing five. Jack Fowels, Bob Mosely, and George Price are other members of the sound Southeast team. Lee Petty and Dick Harmon Har-mon helped make the Furniture zone a tough puzzle for the uod-gers. uod-gers. Clyde Oliver, Waldorf Jones and Ted Saul led Sperry Juniors likewise in a 40-11 surprise waik-a-way over Bryan Juniors who up to this game were undefeated. Gempler and Rasmusson played consistent defensive games for the winners. In other Junior games Wasatch tucked away the Monarchs 38-13, and Harry's Garage defeated Parleys Par-leys 18-8. In the Wasatch tilt Roylance, Mulvay, and Hilton all scored heavily while Harr and Dee Woolley scored for the losers. Glen Dodge again set the pace for the Harry Garage team with 12 counters. Hawthorne Surprises Bryan Seniors Clarke and Blakemore of Hawthorne Haw-thorne rung up 20 points between them to nose out Bryan during the last few minutes of the game Hills and Guido were top scorers for the losing Bryan outfit. In the landslide of the day Sperry Seniors rolled to a smashing smash-ing 63-6 triumph -over St. Paul's. Harry Smith with 29 points, Doug Lindsley with 16, and Les Hay-more Hay-more with 16 went on a real scoring rampage. This win gives Don Sperry's Senior team the championship for the first half of play in the Senior Division. Second Sec-ond half play will begin next Saturday.
