Show Public Health A total of 2579 cases of communicable com-municable diisease was reported to the Utah State Board of Health Heal-th by local health officers for the week endinig January 3, 1911. This is approximately one-half the number of cases which were reported last week. The principal decrease was noted in the number num-ber of cases of influenza which dropped from 5048 cases last week to2344 cases for this week. Some of the outlying counties are still reporting a great many cases of influenza: Washington County reports a total of 51(5 cases. Carbon County 170, Sanpete San-pete Countv 145, and Utah County 124. The number of cases of pneumonia pneu-monia u-a? 33 as compared with 1 2ij for last week.
