Show Bedridden Italian Now United States Citizen MEMPHIS, TENN. Fred Case, dogged by pneumonia and a heart ailment, took his second ambulance ride in three days to earn what comes to many persons by birth American citizenship. Case, a 46-year-old native of Italy, who was a lieutenant in the Italian army in the last war, was one of the 38 toreign-born persons sworn in by Federal Judge Marion Boyd. He was wheeled into the courtroom court-room on a stretcher to swear allegiance alle-giance to his adopted country. |
