Show Industrial Editor Named To Office For the -first time, a Utah industrial editor has been named an area director of the International Council of Industrial In-dustrial Editors. She is Joan Barry, editor of ZCMirror, monthly employee magazine of Z. C. M. I. Mrs. Barry will be the point of contact between ICIE national nat-ional hearquarters in Akron, Ohio and affiliated industrial editor groups in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. She is also secretary of the Industrial In-dustrial Editors Association of Utah. For almost two years Mrs. Barry had edited the ZCMirror, an internal magazine with & circulation of 1300. It Is the only such magazine west of the Mississippi reproduced by photocomposition. Before she went to work for ZCMI, Mrs. Barry was women's editor of the Idaho State Journal in Pocatello, and correspondent there for the Deseret News. In more than ten years of newspaper women's page work, some of Mrs. Barry's sprightly writings have been reprinted in Reader's Digest and Editor and Publisher. Pub-lisher. Mrs Barry is the wife of Norman V. Barry, secretary to the mechanical superintendent, superinten-dent, South Central district, Union Pacific Railroad.
