Show iamn)is!iFi33isriQ)i3KrFir 10 Minutes Can Save You Hundreds Of $s For many months newspapers, magazines, radio commentators and other forms of communication have emphasized the need for economy in government and the reduction in size qf government and it's over-control of the individual. Now it appears, that at long last, Washington is also hearing the news from the "grass roots'. Congress is beginning to talk about the need for economy. So now is the time for the citizens to act. The waste In government spending is common knowledge, the over abundance of bureaus and their control of all of our activities is recognized and the duplication of work is obvious to all BUT the fact that nothing is being done about these conditions, except talk, is the most evident of all. Most of our congressmen desire to do what is right and pleasing to the home folks. Since politics is politics and votes are votes to do anything other than what the citizens want would be foolish. However congressmen must be told what you want and only YOU can do that. If you are tired of the "give-aways, the governmental controls on your life through the bureaus, the waste of money, the excess of reports, over taxation and the many other ills that follow too much government then write your congressman and say so. Enough letters will create action. In one months time, or less, there would be a change in policy that would save all of us many dollars and hours of time. The feeling of independence would return. Personal initiative that follows free enterprize and competition would again be the American way of life. If you didn't vote and do not express yourself to your congressman you have no right to complain and neither will our congressmen know the opinions of the citizens which is the most important factor in determining government policy. Write today and often. T.N, |
