Postmaster D.R. Trevithick says: "The excellent response to our mail-earl- y campaign last year enabled us to make delivery of practically every piece of Christmas mail by December 24th." Here are hints from the Post Office for speeding this year's mail: 1. Use sturdy corrugated mailing cartons. 2. Plenty of heavy wrapping paper. 3. Tie with s trong cord, after being sure each package well-packe- d, 4. Place extra address label INSIDE the carton before wrapping. 5. Place transparent cellophane tape over outside address to prevent defacing in transit. 6. Give recipients full name, street address, city, zone, and state. 7. Put full return address on each piece of mail. Deadline for all distant points should be as soon as possible and for nearby destinations. December 15th. CHURCH GROUPS.
