Show Deanna Bonnett BPW Girl-Stater f - v V t ( y ' .- V . J I ' ' l : j I has been very busy m school .activities. During her sopnomores year she was a Home Room Representative Re-presentative in the Girl's Association Asso-ciation of Highland High School. She was secretary of the Y-Teen Club, and member of the Spanish club. Then in her Junior year she was assistant business manager of the Year Book. She belonged to the Pep Club. She is a member of the German club also. Playing the piano and swimming bring her many enjoyable hours. Tennis is a game which she also enjoys. She is now a study body officer, being vice-president of the Highland Associated Women. Deanna is associate editor of the Year Book .for 1960-61. She is developing her business ability also by working in the concession stand at the Zoo. She has been active in her church holding various offices, and at the present time is a teacher in a Sunday School Class. We feel that Deanna is an outstanding young lady and will be a good representative at Girls State, where she will learn all about how our government functions. Atone of our summer meetings, she will be our guest and give a report on her activities at Girls' State. Each year the Sugar House Business and Professional Women's Club sponsors a girl for Girls' State held at the Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Our candidate is Deanna Bonnett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert K. Bonnett of 1836 So. 19th East, Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a student of Highland High School.
