Rush, Guest Orchestra Conductor from University of Southern California and Dr. George Howerton, Choral Conductor from Northwestern University. With them studying the program are Marvin H. Strong, Supervisor of Instrumental Music and Lew J. Wallace, Supervisor of Vocal Music, both of Granite School District. Professor Rush and Dr. Howerton were in Salt Lake City to conduct the Granite Arts Combined A Capella Choir and Youth Symphony Concert, Con-cert, composed of outstanding musicians from the four high schools in die Granite School District. The concert was held Wednesday, March 9th at the Salt Lake Tabernacle. The next concert to be sponsored by Granite Arts Association will be the University of Utah Theatre Ballet, Thursday, March 31st.
