Rich, Utah Adjutant General, Sunday will wind up activities of the 1960 annual summer camp training exercise. Highlights of the annual training stint of Utah's citizen-soldiers came with the annual military might demonstration and display on Governor's Day, Junell, at Camp Williams and the awards program scheduled for Junel8 in theCamp's West Bowl. "I think we've shown improvement improve-ment this year over last year's summer camp which was probably the best of the Utah National Guard up to date. Last year, the Utah National Guard ranked number one in the training efficiency program over all other state National Guards in the sixth U.S. Army area which takes in all of the western states, Gen. Rich said. "We have every reason to suspect that when the Senior Army Advisors tally all of our ratings the two-weeks of summer camp, we'll find ourselves in even better shape than last year which was our banner year," Gen. Rich said. I |
