Show Cottonwood Mrss Fay Allington and Reed B. McCune will excange wedding vows August 7. Salt Lake Temple will be scene of their nuptials. Following, they will be honored at a wedding breakfast at Harman's hosted by the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron McCune, 4817 Harper Street. The same evening the couple will be feted at a wedding reception in the Holladay Stake House, 4917 View Mount, given by her parents, Mr. and Mrs Walter Allington, 2621 Valley View Avenue. They will honey, moon to Southern Utah. Miss Karen Turpin has returned re-turned from her visit to Reno Nevada. While there she visited Yosemite Park with the Tom Tuckers. When she returned, re-turned, Miss Turpin brought her cousin, Miss Emily Kay Tucker, back with her and Emily has been staying with her grandmother, Mrs. Emilie Turpin, 580 South 13th East. to see his new little sister. Judith Dolowitz of 1602 Mill Creek Way is vacationing in Mexico City with Martha Amerigo Ame-rigo who was an exchange student here at Christmas time and stayed at the Dr. David Dolowitz home. Mr. Howard Summerhays and son, Roger of 1553 Mill Creek Way just returned from a fishing trip on the Salmon River in Idaho with a real prize - a 42 lb., 39 inch salmon. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo W. Mul-cock, Mul-cock, 1022 East 5650 South, have born July 6 a new girl in the family. Valley View 3rd Ward held a sussful Building Fund Dinner Din-ner which took place on the potios of 20 different homes. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dixon, 2009 South 16th East, went to Los Angeles for the funeral of Mrs. Josephine Heauter, mother of Mrs. -Dixon. Mrs. Heauter had been living in Salt Lake City with the Dixons, and only recently moved to Los Angeles to live. She died of complications complica-tions following a broken hip, Tuesday, July 15. Sugar House neighbors send their sympathy to the Dixon family. The girls in this area are preparing for a three or four day camping trip beginning the first of August. They are tentatively planning to go to American Fork Canyon rather than the usual Spruces up Cottonwood Canyon. All girls interested should get in touch with Mrs. Marie Pace. VALLEV VIEW A new little bundle in pink has arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin L. Blood, who reside at 2228 East 3900 South.
