Williams. Occasion was the regular commanders conference con-ducted - at Salt . Lake City Armory No. 1 by MaJ. Gen. Maxwell" E. Rich. Utah Adju-tant General ; The 1958 encampment - is scheduled in two sections, June 8-- 22 and June 15-2- 9. All units of the 115th Engineer Group will attend summer camp from June 8-2- 2, along with the Head-quarters and Headquarters Detachment, 23rd Army Band, and 3659th Ordnance Company O .... ELDER YOUNG '- - Elder Young Guest At Canyon Rim Elder Clifford E. Young, Assistant to the Council of the Twelve Apostles, will be the official visitor at the Canyon Rim Stake Quarterly Confer-ence May 10-1- 1. Elder A. Lew-is Elggren of the General Ch-urch Welfare Committee will accompany Elder Young. The conference will convene in the Southeast Tabernacle, 21st South and 9th East In addition to the two gener-al sessions scheduled at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, a Welfare Meeting will be con-ducted Saturday, May 10, at 6:30 p.ra; at the. Garden Hei-ghts. Ward Chapel. A Priest-hood Leadership Meeting will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the ch-apel. A special Youth Confer-ence is planned Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden Heights Chapel, at which Dav-id S. King, Assistant Superin-tendent in the General YMMXA Superintendence will be the speaker. RotaryAnns Slate Party A gala birthday party will mark the Anniversary and May meeting of Sugar House Rotary Ann's, Thursday, May 16, at the home of Mrs. Leo B. Dykes, 1429 So. 19th East "Musical Notes" will be the theme for the table settings at the luncheon and birthday place cards will mark each appoint-ment and individual birthday cakes will add to the table decor. Mrs. Ralph L. Tingey will be toastmistress and toasts will be given by Mrs. S. J. Nichols, Mrs. Ellory Hansen, Mrs. Win-ston Thatcher, Mrs. Theodore Jorgensen. Musical numbers will complete the program. Mrs. Stanley Child, president of the group, will be in charge. All Saints Church To Sponsor Preaching Mission The All Saints Chapter of r., Anirew is sponsoring a r "Mnc: mission to be held ' r. 'n" through Friday nights, Vnv 12 to 16, at All Saints E'scopal Church, 1710 Foot-hi- ll Boulevard. The Right Rev-era- nd James P. Clements, Episcopal Suffragan Bishop of Txas. will conduct the preach-ing mission each night at 8 p.m., and it is planned that shon Clements will preach ft the Sunday morning services a the All Saints Church on 'v 11th. P'so Clements is renowned in th Southwest as a force-ful and inspiring teacher. S'r-c- his consecration as Suffragan Bishop of Texas in Aufrust, 1956 he has been in constant demand for preach-ing missions and the educat-ional work of the Episcopal Church. Canyon Rim PTA Elects Officers The Canyon Rim P.T.A. held an election meeting on April 17. The following were elected officers for the year 1958-5- 9: President Mrs. Eugene Lees; Vice President Mrs. Russell Redenbaugh; 2nd Vice Pres-ident Mr. L. J. Nielson, princi-pal; Secretary Mrs. Ben Tysen; Treasurer Mr. Frank Parker. Library Gives Time Changes The Calvin S. Smith branch of the Salt Lake County Library, 810 E. 33rd So., has announced new library hours for the months of June, July and August. They are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The Library will be closed Sundays and Holidays. During the Month of May, a special art exhibit of a number of oil and water color paintings by Utah Artists through the courtesy of Associated Utah Artists will be on display.
