Show Sugar House, Utah - Thursday August 15, 1957 Page 2 SOUTH EAST INDEPENDENT Life With Lynne Wyoming, on a pack-i- n trip with their dads. Carol Jensen went to Tucson, Arizona and Old Mexico and really enjoyed her-self. The other night Russ Davey and Jack Longhurst took Valerie Haymore and me to the Temple Bowling Alley. They tried to show us how to bowl. I nearly went down the alley with the ball every time I tried. Valerie made one strike and that's pretty good, because it was the first time she had ever bowled. After that we rode up on the avenues. We stop-ped the car and looked at the city lights. It made me think of glitt-er sprinkled on. black paper. The other evening I went to Great Salt Lake with the S. Kim-ball family: Mr. and Mrs. Rose-mary, Maysie and Don. We went to a spot by Sunset Beach were there were a lot of cabins. You could see Antelope Island, Saltair, Black Rock Beach all from the same point. We would have gone for a boat ride but darkness was falling like a curtain at the final performance. It looks to me like they'll have to use the Stadium for the Sem-inar For Sallies next year. If any of you weren't there! It looks like we're going to have to get busy and either buy or make: a red blouse to add some color, mix well in a plaid skirt, fold in a winter sheath, sprinkle well with a medallion, keep warm in some bulky knit sweaters, serve always with a radiant look and a winning smile. Bye now, Lynne Hi-y- a! Vacatipns; Vacations, every-one is trying to get in some last minute fun. Vivian Poulsen and Sue Christ-ense- n had a wonderful trip to California to see Disneyland. Pam Moyle spent two weeks of the summer in Los Angeles and the neighboring cities. Valerie Hay-mor- e spent the week In Richfield, Utah, fishing. Joanne Doyle had a real fun time in Seattle, Wash. Reed Jensen, Thatch Moyle and Richard Day went to Wind River, jEE SUGARHOUSE (the sweetest .pot in E4 WONDERFUL ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL IN OUR CURRENT BILL ENDING SATURDAY. fcimgStr-- """imMfi wi), run m: ZZ? vM- - ' J HUNGRY FOR ADVENTURE and burning to fight, youthful heroes Rab Silsbee (Dick Beymer) and "Johny Tremain," (Hal Stalmaster lie in ambush awaiting unsuspecting English soldiers during the battle of Concord.
