Show j ; I iiflu Susanna Circle of the Methodist! Centenary Church has started an unusual method of raising funds for their new budget project. Dubbed "Coffee Can Dinners", this is the way the method works: One member of the Circle has invited in-vited another member and her fam-i fam-i ily to dinner. After dinner, the cof- I fee can is passed, the guest family puts in an amount equivalent to what the dinner would have cost them elsewhere. Then they take the coffee can home, and in turn, invite a third family to dinner, when the 1 process is repeated, until all fam- J llies having members in the Circle have been dinner guests and hosts. t j Vacation bible classes are now I in session at the Neighborhood Chapel which is located at 2180 ! East 27th South. The classes began August 5th and will run until August 16th. The Bible school supervisor is Mrs. T. M. Constance, wife of Reverand T. M. Constance. Reverand Constance is serving as a teacher along with Miss Eva rarcell, Mrs Wayne Rider, Mrs. Loa Anderson and Mrs. Tom j Kreek. |
