Show upper county to celebrate electrification fete for Comp completion letlon of initial REA KEA project set for I 1 tomorrow at altamont Altar friday will see sec tile the first rural electrification project in the state of utah according to ed conklin superintendent of he moon lake electric association which is sponsoring a fete at altamont friday to celebrate the coming of power to inper duchesne county on friday the initial project undertaken by the moon lake association including electrifying of mt emmons bluebell and alton all ah will have been completed and part of the ceremonies will be the of the newly constructed ted power lines over homes and business houses in these communities have been wired and 51 miles of line have been con by the W W clyde company power will be furnished by the uintah power light company the celebration program will begin at 10 a m and win will consist of a band concert ceremonies in connection with turning power through the lines and talks by prominent uintah basin people numerous electrical appliance demonstrations are scheduled and sports including a baseball game horse pulling contests childrens dance etc will provide the afternoon entertainment the public is invited to be present |
